New Unique Course Format
The new Year in Review format highlights the key literature from 2025 that will impact your daily practice. We’ll cover the top papers in cardiology, trauma, pediatrics, orthopedics, airway management, and more—about 250 in total!
More specifically, expect four 30-minute presentations, one by each faculty member—two on clinical cases and one each on medicolegal issues and traps in reading the literature.
Then, to the literature—rotating pairs of faculty present and then comment on each paper. Organized by topic, these 30-minute unscripted sessions allow the faculty to share their unique clinical perspectives drawn from their own experience and knowledge of the emergency medicine literature.
Expect to walk away from the course energized, inspired, and equipped with fresh insights, whether they confirm what you’re already doing right or point to new ways to advance your practice.

The format of two speakers doing rapid fire kept my ER doc brain engaged and the stories kept me laughing. The topics were current and just what I needed to improve my practice.
I enjoyed the speakers a lot. Having 2 at the same time meant they could temper each other. This was an excellent format, and I enjoyed all the speakers a lot.
Fantastic course. Great faculty. I truly enjoyed this format for physicians who have years of clinical experience and the latest research trends.
I really appreciated the format, the review, and their personal take on the evidence and how it would change or be applied in their practice. It was easy to follow and there was a wide range of subjects.
