pediatric acute care: the year in review

Join us in 2026 for an all-new, cutting-edge pediatric course.

The emphasis – clinical studies published exclusively in 2025 that have been carefully selected for their potential to impact your practice and presented by enthusiastic faculty.

Each presentation will be delivered by front-line pediatric educators, with expertise in reviewing the literature and who have trained generations of clinicians.

In addition to reviewing over 250 clinical studies, there will be four focused traditional 30-minute presentations and multiple faculty panels. And the best part…no slides! Each of these presentations is given by pairs of engaging, expert faculty.

New Unique Course Format

The Year in Review format highlights the key literature from 2025 that will impact your daily practice. We’ll cover the top papers in acute care pediatrics – respiratory disorders, cardiology, trauma, orthopedics, airway management, and more—about 250 in total!

More specifically, expect four 30-minute presentations, one by each faculty member—two on clinical cases and one each on medicolegal issues and traps in reading the literature.

Then, to the literature—rotating pairs of faculty present and comment on each paper. Organized by topic, these 30-minute unscripted sessions allow the faculty to share their unique clinical perspectives drawn from their own experience and knowledge of the pediatric acute care literature.

Expect to walk away from the course energized, inspired, and equipped with fresh insights, whether they confirm what you’re already doing right or point to new ways to advance your practice.
